- Job Overview:
- Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting a Computer Based Examination for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Exam 2024. We are seeking dedicated and qualified candidates who are interested in serving their nation by joining the prestigious Delhi Police and CAPFs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patrols and investigations to maintain law and order in assigned areas.
- Enforce laws, make arrests, and testify in court as necessary.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations of crimes and incidents.
- Work collaboratively with fellow officers and law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Age limit: Candidates must be between 20 to 25 years as of 01-08-2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Physical Standards:
- For male candidates except those listed at S No (ii) and (iii): Height – 170 cm, Chest – 80 cm (unexpanded) and 85 cm (expanded)
- For female candidates except those listed at S No (v) and (vi): Height – 157 cm
- Corresponding weight to height for all posts
- Physical Endurance Test (PET) requirements for both male and female candidates.
- Medical standard: Candidates must meet the specified medical standards.

- Physical Endurance Test (PET) Requirements:

- 100 metre race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 3 chances
- High Jump: 1.2 metres in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances
- For Female Candidates:
- 100 metre race in 18 seconds
- 800 metre race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metres in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9 metres in 3 chances
- Note: There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.
