Teaching Exams
Teaching exams in India are conducted by the Central and State government to appoint teachers and professors across India. Candidates aspiring to for a government teacher job/professor job have to clear the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)/TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) NET (National Eligibility Test)/SET (State Eligibility Test).
Teaching Exam Pattern
The TET consists of two exams:
It depends upon the candidate what he/she wants to choose. Level 1 is for those who want to be the primary teacher. The primary teacher teaches from classes 1 to 5. Whereas, level 2 is for those who want to be a secondary teacher. and, the secondary teacher teaches from classes 5 to 8.
Each exam of any state follows their eligibility, pattern, etc. Paper 1 consists of 100 marks. And, paper 2 is of 120-150 marks. There will be no negative marking. Each question will have +1 or +2 marks. The pattern of paper depends upon the authority that how many marks, questions, or schemes they want to apply.
